You are invited to join Kent’s first unconference, a new and unique event where you get to set the agenda and make things happen.
Do you have an experience to share about how you overcame challenges in innovating and growing your business? If so please come along and pitch it to everyone. Through a lively facilitated process, see if it gets voted in to form part of the day’s agenda and get the opportunity to speak during one of the short 15 minute breakout sessions that will take place during the day. Information from each session will be posted online to encourage follow up discussions and among attendees and other interested individuals.
We think this is a great way to build new connections, create new business opportunities and share stories. Unlike a traditional conference it acknowledges that expertise and knowledge is everywhere in the audience and not just the invited speakers.
Attendance is free of charge – just bring yourself and that spark of desire to be more of a participant rather than a delegate. Running as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week we will capture the growing entrepreneur culture spreading across Kent and give you some new tips and skills to take away that will help turn your business up another notch.
To book, please visit the event portal booking form and we will send you some more details about how the day will work in practice and some popular topics that people might want to hear about – clever selling, delighting customers, using whizzy IT, creating new products, emerging business opportunities – in case they happen to be your area of expertise that you can bring to the party!
If you want to start the conversation about your idea now please send us a tweet us at @RIFTAccounting

Steve Schmidt has confirmed that he is going to attend our unconference and arrange his travel plans for the UK in November around the event!
Steve was the inspiration behind the idea, having been instrumental in setting up the Boston Innovation Unconference http://masstlcuncon.org/ and still part of the overseers group.
