Why we love not for profit (and you should too!)
Probably similar to you, we equally hate the ‘hard sale’ and the long holds on the phone when all you want is a human being to answer a query or resolve your problem. Equally similar to you, we want to know about things that will benefit us – not the seller, which means we have little time for waffle and someone trying to convince us we NEED their product or service. What we like are solutions that are easy to find, purchases that we actually need and ideas that push the boundaries of the past to a new 21st Century future.
So, what we are saying is that we are not the hard sale or the solution to the greater problems out there, but we are looking to tackle the way in which businesses help bridge the gap between experience, education and the workplace – in a mission of ‘two-way streets’…jargon? No, let us explain…
Our Founders – Nicola Coppen & Alan Dean – are passionate about our ‘mission’ of building communities and towns, good citizens and community economies as well as promoting industries and teaching skills. That’s why 4Roles4Goals was formed.

What we love is the fact that 4Roles4Goals is a partnership formed between businesses with high value ethics, who want to use their Corporate Social Responsibility funds to benefit future generations coming into the workplace.
To us, it is important that every partner in 4Roles4Goals should benefit from the scheme. So sponsorship from Business, to showcase the careers and skills needed to bring events to life, become the micro-economy and explore the local community ties. We equally wanted to ensure that there would be a ‘draw’ for businesses and for Young People to take part in, and that they value the scheme as a way for them to promote themselves.
What better place to do this than what we think is the BEST CLASSROOM IN THE WORLD? Sporting and other events to teach ‘by stealth’ and provide interest to see what the business partner has done! So, how do we do it?
We take events and offer Real World Interactive Work Experience – whereby participants form a Junior Press Team and as part of the achievement for them, publish a report on their experiences. Who they interviewed, what they found out and of course how they enjoyed the day.
