Have You Got A Hot Dog?
Could your dog be the face of a Heating Hub boiler package?
Rochester based heating installation company The Heating Hub are commissioning a local artist to draw 3 dogs for their Oil Boilers arm of the business and are holding a public competition #HotDogs to find two of the Posing Pooches here in Kent!
There will be two categories for the General Public entries:
- Pups under 2 years of age
- Adult dogs 2 years+
The two winners will be immortalised into two dog impressions which will be used across all the Heating Hub Oil Boiler promotional items and there will be a doggy hamper for each winner too.
A third dog will come from the Medical Detection Dogs charity (MDD) which is in much need of increased awareness and financial support. There will be 8 MDD dogs to choose from and you can find out more about the charity and their stories on www.theheatinghub.co.uk/hotdogs
With their amazing sense of smell the Medical Alert Assistance Dogs support individuals who live with dangerous health conditions, whilst at their centre in Milton Keynes the Cancer and Bio Detection Dogs can be trained to identify the odour of cancer and potentially the development of a simple method of non-invasive cancer diagnosis.
The Heating Hub have committed to donating £5 from every boiler sale in 2017 to Medical Detection Dogs but if you wish to make a donation to MDD log onto the #HotDog JustGiving page through the Heating Hub website.
Entries can be made between 21st April and 19th May via The Heating Hub website: www.theheatinghub.co.uk/hotdogs. All entries will be posted on the website and visitors will be able to vote on their favourite pooches in all three categories from 20 until 28th May. Visitors will also be able to vote for one of the eight MDD dogs. The winners will be announced on 2 June.
