Bunker Review 2012

Thought it may be useful as we start another year to give an overview of how Kent’s very own SME radio Show ( unique in the UK) has fared over the previous 12 months.

We will have broadcast 50 shows with 103 guests from the Kent Business community. We have highlighted 1,102 Kent SME’s via email, phone in , twitter and Facebook submissions. We have had many testimonials about business done and new customers gained as a result of appearing on the show. Remember ALL of this is free to use.

Amongst our guests have been Richard Farleigh from Dragons Den, Oliver Heath from ITV’s dream homes as well as David Philpott Chair of IOD Kent , Graham Webb MBE , Jamie Clifford Chief Exec of Kent County Cricket Club and many many others.

During the year we raised money for Breast Cancer Care, ChYps and Pilgrims Hospices.

We ran a campaign to raise awareness about Kent food and drink producers and that has proved so successful they now have their own regular radio show Scoff and Quaff. Following from that success we then highlighted the fantastic manufacturing businesses that exist in the county. Based on that campaign there is now a web portal made-in-kent.co.uk that exists to promote manufacturing in Kent.

Next year we will be focusing with the aid of Creative Kent on businesses and individuals working in Kent’s marvellous creative industries.
